While the noble Lords and Ladies of Atlantia are busy attending to the Royal Progress of their King and Queen, the peasants are having a market faire! Come to Elchenburg Castle to enjoy a day of activities including fighting, arts and science competitions, merchants (including blanket merchanting), lawn games, and bardic! A wondrous below the salt feast will also be provided. Come, enjoy, and have a peasant day!

Arts & Sciences:

Four A&S Competitions: Games of skill and chance ( board, card, lawn);  Containers, of any material; Illuminations of the Common Folk at work or play; and Rustic foods. (Documentation of ingredients required for allergy purposes).

Feast:There will be a wonderful below the salt feast prepared by Patronne Murienne L"aloiere. Bring your own chairs for seats at the tables or blankets for picnic style. Feast is limited to 75 people.
Merchanting:Merchants and blanket merchants are welcome. The populace is encouraged to bring items to barter/sell/gift, it is a Market Day! There are no additional merchant fees.

Registration Notes:Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Pre-registration via SCArs is the easiest method. Site Restrictions:

No driving or ground fires on the leech fields. Ground fires permitted elsewhere, fill in the firepit before you leave. All trash must be deposited in the dumpster at the entrance. All pets must be leashed. No altering site features without express written permission. No firearms.

Barony of Sacred Stone Cancellation/Refund Policy:
The Event Steward or Event Reservationist must receive refund requests, in writing, no later than five (5) days after the event ends. Exceptions may be made by the approval of the Emergency Financial Committee. No refund shall be issued until the event books have been closed. No refund(s) will be issued until all financial obligations of the event have been fulfilled and only if it is ensured that the requested refund(s) will not hinder the ability of the event to fulfill those financial obligations. No refund(s) will be given to those who have checked in at gate. Approved refunds will be issued minus any processing fees assessed.

Directions:

From the South: Take your best route to I-77 North. Take Exit 82 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp.

*Proceed less than a mile and turn right onto Messick Rd. Proceed to the end of Messick Rd. and turn left on Center Rd. Approx. 9 miles later Mitchel Chapel United Methodist Church is on the left. Elchenburg Farm is 4/10ths of a mile further on right. Turn right on gravel road Elchenburg Castle Pl. Signs will be posted.

From Hwy 421: Proceed to intersection with I-77 North, Exit 82, use directions from *

From the North: Take your best route to I-81 then to I-77 South to Exit 82, turn left at the exit ramp, use directions from *

From the East: Be Aware, signs from this direction are routinely stolen. Be certain to have a backup for finding site. From Interstate 40, take Exit 188 to Highway 421 West toward Boone and Yadkinville. Continue on 421 until the Yadkinville/Highway 601 Exit 257. Turn Right at light onto 601. In 4/10s mile at light turn Left on W. Lee St. At Light turn left onto West Main St/old Hwy 421. About 7/10ths of a mile just before Harmony Grove Friends Meetinghouse turn Right on Booger Swamp Rd, and at the end of Booger Swamp, turn Right on Center Rd. Travel 2.2 miles, Elchenburg is on the Left. Turn left on Elchenburg Castle Pl. If you see the Mitchel Chapel United Methodist Church, you have gone too far.
