Martial Activities: Lord Robert Shockley of Avonsford is serving as the Marshal in Charge for Crecy. He and his staff are coordinating the marshal activities of thrown weapons, archery, armored combat, combat archery, youth combat, rapier combat, and cavalry.

Arts & Sciences Activities: Lady Madluza Dianotto and her staff are coordinating the Arts and Sciences activities including Artisan\'s Row, Display, and Competitions. Going on Campaign is the theme for our event competitions will include best encampment, best field presence, static, and dynamic displays. Cost Notes: Family discount - Event price cap is $50.00 for admission if all persons are SCA members. Family is defined as custodial adults plus legal dependents. Proof of immediate family relations and age may be required.

Roman Baths (swimming pool): $5.00 cash per person, payable at the gate upon check in.

Site: VanHoy Farms Family Campground 742 Jericho Road Harmony, NC 28634. Site opens Friday 3pm, closes Sunday noon.

VanHoy Farms Family Campground is located in Union Grove, in Iredell County North Carolina. Located just 12 miles north of Statesville on I-77 and NC 901.

Site Restrictions: GENERAL RULES

Fire pits are allowed however, the top layer of sod must be replaced when fire extinguished and users depart facility. All evidence of the fire must be removed.
Firearms and illegal drugs are not allowed
No fishing/swimming in canal located adjacent to the campground
Use of electric fencing to contain horses may be used. A sign displaying Article 99E of NC Equine law must be posted at the check in point.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Vehicles are restricted to the marked dirt roads within the facility and must be removed during the event to a designated parking area. The exception to this rule are horse trailers which must remain connected and intact for safety. Visitors will take care when offloading equipment on soft grass and vehicles must be moved with caution. Loading and unloading of equipment is the primary reason for vehicles in the camping areas. Cutting down ANY firewood or trees for any reason is prohibited.

PARKING

An area of field acceptable to owner will be used for parking. The SCA will be responsible for setting up the parking and the site will not be responsible for vehicles or valuables left in said vehicles.

Feast Information: The Annual Crecy Potluck supper will happen on Saturday evening. All are invited, meat will be provided, bring a side to share. Mistress Fiona MacLeod is organizing this fine fare. Please help her by signing-up with your dish at our website.

Merchanting Information: Merchants are welcome. There is no cost to vend but you will need to bring your own shade and table. Please sign-up on our website under the Merchants\' drop down tab.

Other Information: Travelers Feast (Friday 6:00pm - 9:00pm): $5.00 per person -no charge for travelers feast for children under 10. Lady Elizabeth Sabine du Northumberland.

Directions:

Make your best way to Interstate 77 in North Carolina.

From the north, head south on 77 until you reach exit 65. At the end of the ramp turn left and cross over 77.

From the south, head north on 77 until you reach exit 65. At the end of the ramp turn right.

From both directions, your next right is Jericho Rd. The VanHoy entrance is less than a mile on the left-hand side. Please follow the signs to gate and observe all site speed limit signs.
