Baronial Birthday & Investiture

Tir-y-Don
As the days grow longer and the Spring air warms, the Barony of Tir-y-Don invites all of Atlantia to join us at our Baronial Birthday and Investiture.
Martial Activities: During the day on Saturday, competitions will decide Tir-y-Don's next heavy, rapier and archery championships. Questions about the martial activities should be directed to the MiC,
Lord Wulfgang Moennich von Lupin.
Arts & Sciences Activities: Artisans are encouraged to enter one of the A&S competitions: brewing, metal casting, best documentation, best entry by a child, and best entry by a novice. There will also be space for an open display, and a brewing class during the afternoon. More detailed information about the various contests can be found on our website.

Site Restrictions: PLEASE NOTE that the site is discreetly wet - no original containers are permitted. Additionally, there is no smoking permitted in the buildings and no pets will be allowed on site. Feast: Lady Briana Morgan of the Valley (Kenda McCormack) is preparing a sumptuous feast. With specific dietary questions, please contact Lady Briana or (757) 369-4924. Merchants: Merchants are welcome to set up your wares at no additional fee. However, please contact the Event Steward to ensure your spot. Other Information: A fundraiser luncheon will be for sale, coordinated by Lord John Biggeheved (John McCord). From Points West: Take I-64 East to Exit 220 (West Point). Take a right at the first traffic light, onto Route 30 (New Kent Hwy). Follow Rte 30 for about 5 miles, then make a right onto Stage Rd (there will be a post office on the left and a white sign with green lettering for the campground). Go another mile, then turn left onto Ropers Church Rd (again, look for the campground signs). The campground is half a mile down Ropers Church Rd.
