Come and join the Canton of Cyddlain Downs on our pilgrimage across the world. Steeped in the culture of the Middle Ages is the desire to visit places of significance. Cyddlain Downs has crafted a quest that shall take you on a journey to remember! This pilgrimage will be fraught with dangers and excitement, games of chance and games of wit – and if your luck holds out, perhaps a blessing or two. You don’t have to be an expert in holy sites to join us but [WARNING] you may just learn something on your journey.
Martial Activities: Abound! Armoured, Rapier and Target ArcheryFighters (rapier and armoured) and archers will have the chance throughout the day to defend pilgrims on their journeys. Martial activities will be flexible so that fighters and archers can participate in the quest as well as fight/shoot, if desired. Want to just fight or shoot all day – you can do that too!! Arts & Sciences Activities: A competition will be held in items related to Pilgrims, Pilgrimages, and Places of Pilgrimage. Artisans are also encouraged to display items demonstrating their A&S prowess and talents in a general open display. Cost:

From the West: From I-26, take exit 82 (773 South) toward Prosperity; Turn right (West) on 76 into Prosperity; Take a sharp left onto 391 just before the Piggly Wiggly (you will be backtracking a bit); At first light, turn right (following 391); Continue on 391 for about 11 miles. You will cross over Lake Murray twice; Turn Right (West) onto Mt. Willing Road (SR 41 59). You will see a brown sign directing you to Camp Barstow; Stay on Mt. Willing Road (SR 41 59) for 2.8 miles; Turn Right at the Camp Barstow sign onto Collum Landing Rd.; At first road on right, turn right onto Ruby Riser Road (again following Camp Barstow signs); Parking area is on the left
From the East: From I-20, take exit 61 onto US-378, Lexington, West Columbia; Turn Right toward Lexington; Bear Right to stay on US-378/US-1; When US-1 and US-378 split, stay Right on US-378; Stay on US-378 for 17.5 miles until you arrive at the Saluda Traffic Circle; From the traffic circle, take your first Right onto US-391 (North) toward Prosperity; Travel on US-391 for 1.6 miles; Turn Left onto Mt. Willing Road (SR 41 59). You will see a brown sign directing you to Camp Barstow; Stay on Mt. Willing Road (SR 41 59) for 2.8 miles; Turn Right at the Camp Barstow sign onto Collum Landing Rd.; At first road on right, turn right onto Ruby Riser Road (again following Camp Barstow signs); Parking area is on the left
