Come enjoy a weekend of learning about period agriculture, fiber arts and production, and brew your favorite period beverages! As before, FFFF will be a workshop, hands-on setting which is being hosted at Lady Caelain and Lord Seamus\'s farm in Central VA. There will be sheep to shear, beverages to brew, plants and seeds to exchange, crops to discuss, wool to spin and weave!

Arts & Sciences Activities: There will be areas dedicated to each of the specific subjects, with a very open schedule that allows for everyone to come and go to the different areas at their leisure and try everything.

Plant and Seed Exchange- Bring temporarily potted plants, or extra seeds to share with others, and take some home, too!

Yarn Destash- Bring a skein, take a skein. Clear out your stash and enable your fellow yarn hoarders at the same time! Plus, any extra yarn left at the end of the event will be donated to the local women\'s shelter.

Brewing- Lord Seamus will be brewing things all day long.

Shearing- There will be a shearing and then skirting demonstration, time TBA.

Spinning- There will be a spinning solar all day.

Farming- There will be henkeeping class, and other animal husbandry discussions.

Cost Notes: Mailed Pre-registration should be postmarked on or before May 4th.

Site: Cygnet Hollow Farm, 1221 Tisdale Rd, Louisa, VA 23093. Site opens Friday, noon. Closes Sunday, noon.

Site Restrictions: This site is a working farm, with flock guardian dogs, free ranging poultry, and barn cats. Therefore, please do not bring your dog unless it is a service dog, in which case please contact the Event Steward regarding how to handle that.

Feast Information: Friday evening Traveller\'s Fare will be available from 7-10pm under the big oak tree. Saturday\'s hearty lunch will be a fee of $5 per person. Saturday evening there will be a potluck dinner, starting at 7pm under the big oak tree. Bring a dish that will serve about 6 or 8 people, please. Some room can be made in the farmhouse for refrigerated things, just ask for instructions when you check in.

Other Information: Primitive camping is available. A simple Traveller\'s Fare meal on Friday evening is included in the camping fee.

Directions:

From Richmond, Take I-64 West to exit 143 (Louisa/Mineral) and turn right at the end of the ramp, 2.1 miles to turn left on Route 640(East Jack Jouett), immediate right on 649(Byrd Mill), 2.4 miles then stay straight as road becomes route 632(Waldrop Church), 1.4 miles to turn left on 749(Tisdale Rd), 1.2 miles to turn left into farm driveway, look for signs. From Charlottesville, take I-64 East to exit 143, turn left at the end of the ramp, then follow above directions.
