The young adults of Atlantia bid you welcome to a day of tournaments to celebrate martial prowess and chivalry. The Shire of Isenfir invites one and all to attend the third Tournament of Chivalry on 15 April 2006 in Madison, Virginia
Martial Activities:
As the focus of martial activities, Atlantia's Knights shall challenge any who would face them on the tournament field in a variety of weapons forms. A small area shall also be available for those who wish to ply their skills outside of the tournament. Though no points will be kept during the tournament, Her Majesty and her Ladies will be casting watchful eyes upon the field, and taking particular interest in chivalric acts. Prizes shall be awarded for valor and prowess.
Arts & Sciences Activities:
Continuing the A&S themes set last year, all gentles are encouraged to display their talents in the Arts and Sciences competitions, documentation requested. There will be separate competitions for adults and youth. Arts and Sciences competitions will include: Field Presence (by individuals and/or households), Heraldic Art (art which has heraldic elements), and Poetry with the theme of Chivalry. For those whose strengths are found in the Bardic Arts as well, there will be a Bardic competition (with the theme of Chivalry) for gentles of all ages.

Cost Notes: Pre- Registration (prior to March 31) saves $2.00.
Site: The site is Shiloh Camp, 4774 Middle River Road, Stanardsville, VA 22973. The site will open at 5pm Friday, 14 April, and close at 12noon on Sunday, 16 April.
Site Restrictions: Pets are allowed, but must be on a leash and attended by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed in the buildings. Ground fires are permitted in designated areas and in portable fire pits. The site is dry.
Feast: Saturday evening will boast a feast crafted by Lord Toby of Isenfir. Feast space is very limited, so please reserve early! Lunch will be provided for a small additional fee. Please contact Lord Toby of Isenfir with any dietary concerns at trcobb@myrealbox.com

Directions:
From DC: From the Beltway go west on I-66 to exit 43. Go south on Rt. 29 for about 55 miles, past Warrenton and Culpeper. Two miles after Madison, turn right on Rt. 230 at the light. There will be a Sheetz convenience store on your right. Go six miles to Hood, turn right on Rt. 613, and go three miles to the end. It comes to a ‘T’ just after you cross a small bridge. Turn right on Middle River Road (Rt. 667), go 1.4 miles to the camp driveway which crosses a wooden bridge on the right just after a sharp left curve. It is directly across from the Shiloh Church of the Brethren. The church sign is easier to see than is Shiloh’s.
From Frederick: Go south on Rt. 15 to Rt. 29 south above Warrenton. Follow directions from DC.
From Harrisonburg: Cross the Blue Ridge on Rt. 33 east. Take Rt. 33 business into Stanardsville. Turn left on Rt. 230, go three miles, turn left on (Middle River Road (Rt. 667). Go approximately 5 miles. The camp driveway crosses a wooden bridge on the right just after a sharp left curve. It is directly across from the Shiloh Church of the Brethren. The church sign is easier to see than is Shiloh’s.
From Richmond: Take I-64 west 71 miles to Charlottesville. Turn north on 29 and go 18 miles to Ruckersville. Turn left on 33 West. After several miles you will turn right at a stoplight for Rt. 33 business towards Stanardsville. As you enter Stanardsville, turn right on Rt. 230, go three miles, then turn left on Middle River Road (Rt. 667). The camp driveway crosses a wooden bridge on the right just after a sharp left curve. The driveway is directly across from the Shiloh Church of the Brethren. The church sign is easier to see than is Shiloh’s.
From Winchester: Go south on Rt. 522 to Sperryville and follow it through town. Turn right on Rt. 231 south and go 18 miles to Madison. Got through Madison and turn right on Rt. 29 south and follow directions from DC. You could take 17 S to 29 S or I-81 if you prefer a longer highway route.
