Description: Welcome to Silver Chalice! Are you relatively new? Do you consider yourself a Novice to the SCA? To a Specific Art or Science? Have you tried and tested your mettle on the field of battle, or in the Arts and Sciences? If you can say "Not within the last two years", THIS IS THE TOURNAMENT FOR YOU!
Martial Activities: Per the Heavy Marshal - Sir Hrothgar Ravenson - Standard tournament for Silver Chalice is a novice tournament, And then a second tournament for everybody. Novice is weapons form authorized less than 2 years.
The Silver Chalice Heavy Youth Tournament will follow standard form, with prizes awarded for each Division's Champion.
Lord Brendan O'Caiside shall be running the Rapier Field, and Lord Patris De Terra Lepori will guide the Archery field
Arts & Sciences Activities: From the Arts and Science Coordinator - Lady Yvonne Montclair - Like the tourney, this is a novice competition. That being said; if you are new to the SCA, have never won an A&S competition, or your entry is a completely new skill, show us what you?ve got. This is all about getting your feet wet. Lets see what?s out there. No big pressure. Documentation is not required, but it is good practice so give us what you?ve got. The divisions are: Fiber arts, Calligraphy / Illumination, Culinary arts
