Are the winds of winter getting you down? Come to the Canton of Tear Sea’s Shore and beautiful Givhans Ferry State Park, and enjoy the balmy skies and beautiful fighting weather for another Tourney of Manannan Mac Lir, with the bragging rights of one of the oldest tourney prizes in Atlantia up for grabs!Heavy fighting and rapier scenarios promise to be exciting, including a double elimination tourney for the Brooch, and a Great Weapons Tourney. A Round Robin Tourney is being planned for the rapier fighters for their Brooch, along with a Cut and Thrust tourney for those interested. A&S competitions will include a Scroll Blank Competition and an Open Competition with a theme of Marine life. Youth, Adult Novice and Adult Experienced categories will be offered. A sumptuous feast is being promised by the Three Barons cooking crew, so contact Baron Ingvar Erlingson (mka Norm Smith) (email norm.e.smith@gmail.com) with any food concerns.

Site: Givhans Ferry State Park 746 Givhans Ferry Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472 Site opens 5pm Friday and closes 12 noon Sunday.
Site Restrictions: Fires are restricted to existing fire rings and fire bowls. Pets are not allowed in the cabins or the cabin areas. Pets are allowed in most other outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. This is a dry site.

Other Information: Primitive Camping sites will be available for free with access to bathrooms and showers. Full hookup sites and cabins are available through the State Park.

Directions: From I-95: Exit 68 Canadys exit. Turn left onto Hwy 61 and drive 17 mi. Cross the Edisto River and take the first left onto Givhans Ferry Rd.
From I-26: Take exit 187 onto Hwy 27 towards Ridgeville and go 1 mile to Hwy 78. Take a left and go approximately 1/4 of a mile and take a right on Hwy 27. Stay on Hwy 27 for 7 miles to Hwy 61. Take a right on Hwy 61 for 3 miles to Givhans Ferry Road. Turn right and park entrance is 1/4 mile on the left.
