Tir-y-Don is having another birthday, come celebrate with us. Their Excellencies of Tir-y-Don will be choosing their armored, rapier, and archery champions. If you are interested in becoming a baronial champion, please enter the arts and sciences competition. Artisans, the theme is "New Beginnings". Try something new, things used prior to 1100 are encouraged.

Martial Activities: Armored Combat, Rapier Combat, Archery. Their Excellencies of Tir-Y-Don will be choosing a champion from the armored, rapier, and archery ranks.

Arts & Sciences Activities: Arts and Sciences competition "New Beginnings" Try your hand at something new or a new technique within your favorite discipline. Entries from pre-1100 encouraged. Keep in mind, contenders for Baronial Champion are asked to submit an entry.

Cost:Adult, Member: $10.00 Day-Trip $7.00 Feast

Child (6-17): $7.00 Day-Trip $7.00 Feast

Site: Mariners Museum Park, off of Warwick Blvd. in Newport News, VA

Site Restrictions: Pets must be leashed. Site is wet but no original containers. This is a primitive site with no running water.

Directions:
From points North: Take I-95 South. Take I-295 Bypass around Richmond. Take I-64 East toward Williamsburg. Take exit 258-A. Travel 2.5 miles to the intersection of Warwick and J. Clyde Morris Boulevards. Make a left at the intersection and take your first right into Mariners Museum Park, parking will be straight ahead.
