Summer Celebration

Come Celebrate with our new Baron and Baroness. This is a day for fun, arts, games, and a little fighting. The day begins at 12:00 and ends with the setting of the summer sun at 9:00 pm. A feast prepared by Lady Sorcha is included with your registration.

Martial Activities: Join us for heavy and rapier bear pits to entertain our Baron and Baroness. We are thinking of using the Baron’s “Wheel of Chance” to pick weapons for each combatant (only authorized forms).

Arts & Sciences: This will be a time to bring items that inspire others to finally start projects. We will recognize the best A&S display that includes at least 3 different types of items, such as a knitted sock, a mead and a glass bead.

Cost: This event is pre-registered only. Attendance limited to 90. No at the door fees will be collected. The feast is included with your pre-paid registration (send dietary concerns with your registration). Registration will end June 2, 2010.

Adults $8.00 ($3.00 non member fee for adults 18 and over)

Children under 10 are free.

Directions:
From I-95 south of Richmond OR I-64 west of Richmond, take route 288 and go to route 10 towards Chesterfield. **Go south on route 10 two miles and turn right at the light for Beach Road. Go 4 miles and turn right into the park. Just after the park entrance, turn right to the Ecology Camp, about 1 mile.
