Join us at Pleasant Grove Park in beautiful Fluvanna County to hone your martial skills in range weapons, melee combat, and cavalry tournaments and jousting. There will be feasting and revelry, games, competitions, and good company!

Fighting: Archery- See A&S for details about Archery Target Competitions. There will archery for all levels. There will also be Thrown Weapons, Rapier, and Heavy Weapons with War Practice for the Central Region. There also will be a Youth Armored Combat Tourney.
Cavalry: There will be a full spread of tournaments and jousting, as well as a group trail ride along the Rivanna River.

Feast: Experience the local cuisine along your journey to the crusades, starting with an English remove. This will be followed by a French remove, an Italian remove and will end with Middle Eastern fare. Site: Pleasant Grove Park in Fluvanna County is located at 1730 Thomas Jefferson Parkway (Route 53) just 3 miles from the village of Palmyra.
Site Restrictions: The site is strictly dry. Fire Safety: Tiki torches will NOT be allowed. Contained fires (fire bowls, grills, etc.) only. Dogs must be leashed and/or contained at all times. Excessively loud pets will be asked to leave. Pets will troll in with owners and owners must agree to pet rules before entering site. See web site for additional details.

Directions:
Fluvanna County is located between Charlottesville and Richmond, south of I-64.
FROM EAST or WEST: Take I-64 to exit 136-Zion Crossroads/ Rt 15. Go south on Rt 15 about 8 miles, passing through Palmyra village then cross the bridge and turn right on Rt 53 (Thomas Jefferson Parkway). Pleasant Grove will be about 1.5 miles on the right. Look for SCA signs.
ALTERNATE FROM SOUTH OF RICHMOND: From I-95 South of Richmond take I-288 to Rt 6 west. Take Rt 6 for about 1 hour to the intersection of Rt 6 and Rt 15 at Dixie, take Rt 15 north for about 5 miles. Turn left onto Rt 53 (Thomas Jefferson Parkway). Pleasant Grove will be approximately 1.5 miles on the right. Look for SCA signs.
FROM SCOTTSVILLE AREA: Follow Rt 6 east. Turn left onto Rt 640 (Haden Martin Road). At the stop sign turn left onto Rt 15 go about 1 mile north. Turn left onto Rt 53 (Thomas Jefferson Parkway). Pleasant Grove will be approximately 1.5 miles on the right. Look for SCA signs.
