Misty Marsh by the Sea

As the weather changes, and the leaves turn from green to brown and red, come join Misty Marsh as we celebrate the end of the harvest.  The Festival of the Seven Fortunes is a chance to give thanks for a fortuitous year and ask for good fortune in the coming season by competing to become a champion of one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune.

Martial Activities:  Heavy fighters, come and fight for honor of being named the Champion of Bishimon, the Warrior Fortune! Archers, come and shoot for a chance to earn the favor of Ebisu, sometimes known as the Fortune of luck! Rapier: These skilled fighters will be fighting for the favor of Daikoku, the Fortune of Wealth!

Arts & Sciences Activities:  Think you have what it takes to earn the blessing of Jurojin, the Fortune of Wisdom?  There will be a Tanka competition.  Tanka a traditional form of Japanese poetry, consisting of five lines in the 5-7-5-7-7 format. There will be an open arts and sciences competition for the youth, who will be vying to earn the favor of Fukurokoju, the Fortune of longevity and well-being. To earn the favor of Benten, the Fortune of Art and beauty, bring your best grooming tools.  Be it period brushes, mirrors, or the like, all will be considered. To earn the favor of Hotei, the Fortune of Happiness and Abundance, we will be hosting an open brewing competition.  Bring your best spirits!

Site Restrictions:  Wet Site! Pets are permitted, but must be leashed and cleaned up after. No dogs are allowed inside of any of the buildings.

Feast Information:  Come join us for an Asian inspired feast!  Researched and prepared by Killian O\'Farrell , this feast is sure to draw a crowd. Please direct all dietary concerns to the feast steward.(904) 704-8591
