Kapellenberg
The dark days of ice and snow have finally given way to spring\'s welcomed warmth and joys! The Canton of Kappellenburg invites you to a long day of revelry to celebrate the thaw. On the shores of the Black Sea, Mother Russia presents to you her renowned hospitality:
Fighting! Tournaments in heavy and rapier, spilling blood to nourish the young grass of May! Feasting! A Russian-themed repast, an assemblage of alimentary amazements, a deluge of delightful delectables, overseen by the incomparable chef de cuisine, Margaret Chochrane Festivity! The entertaining antics of a wandering Commedia dell\'Arte troupe, a display of the sublime Arts and Sciences, and a traditional dance around the May-pole to herald the advance of spring! Optimist farm is a handicap-accessible, wet site. Bring your friends and your drink, and party like a true Russian! Pets are also allowed--we welcome your hounds and huskies! Kindly constrain your conflagrations to the fire pit. The festivities last only for a day. Site is open from 8am to 10pm, but there will be no camping.
