There will be demonstrations and classes of martial arts, both historical and SCA-specific, “messy arts” (loud, messy, and fun!), glasswork, and so much more. Merchants will grace the front lawn and a coffee shop will provide a haven of quiet from the competitions and entertainment exhibitions that will fill the Main Hall. There will be a sheltered area set aside for smokers and a separate one for children and their parents. Competitions include: Period Pentathlon, Kingdom Baronial Championship, Novice Tourney (open to children as well as adults), Persona Triathlon (minors only), Dancing, the First Annual Duke Gyrth Oldcastle Memorial Smackdown (a wild and exciting poetry challenge), as well as the Royal Baker and the Royal Brewer competitions.

Directions:
Take your best route to Chesapeake, VA. Once you are on I-64, look for the Greenbrier Parkway exit and take it NORTH. After exiting, if you see a huge shopping complex, turn around and go the other way. Just after exiting I-64, turn LEFT at Woodlake Drive (hotels are to the right) and travel about 2 blocks. The entrance to Khedive Temple is to your left. Enter and drive the length of the building; the parking lots are to your left, the Troll Booth to your right.
