The weather will be warm but not too hot, the perfect time to come celebrate with us in the beautiful Sommertagen (German for Summer Days). Martial Activities: An exciting day of Armoured, Rapier, Thrown Weapons and Archery tourneys are planned to select the new Baronial Champions.
Arts & Sciences Activities:
There will be competition to select the new Baronial Artisan:
* Best use of Blue, Green and White in any medium or form, bonus points for period materials and documentation.
* Due to the site change, the brewing competition has been changed to NON-alcoholic drinks only

Cost Notes: Preregistration is HIGHLY encouraged! Children 5 and under are our guests for the feast; please let us know so that we can provide extra seating for them.

Site Restrictions: Our new site is DRY, please no alcohol. No pets. Site opens at 10am, closes at 8:30pm
Feast: The feast will be a collaboration of Mistress Kailyn Fitzwarin and Lady So¬phia Kress. Lady Sophia will be preparing the recipes out of Sabina Welserin’s German cookbook of 1553 and Mistress Kailyn Fitzwarin will be preparing the feast. Feast will be limited to 80 seats. Please contact the Event Steward with any food allergy concerns.
Merchanting: Do you have SCA related items at your house that need a new home? If so, register now for a space at the Marinus Baronial garage sale, happening, 11am-2 pm.
It will work just like a regular garage sale, by you placing items on a table with prices on them. You are responsible for watching your items and making any sales. Any monies you make are yours to keep, but you are welcome to make a donation to the Barony.
We do ask that you keep the items for sale to limited to SCA related items, supplies, goods, etc.

From the South: I-95 N toward Richmond. Take exit 11A to merge onto US-58 E toward Norfolk/Emporia. Take the I-664/I-64/US-13 ramp to Portsmouth/I-264/Norfolk. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-664 and merge onto I-664 S . Continue on I-64 W. Take exit 279B to merge onto Norview Ave. Continue straight to stay on Norview Ave. Turn left at Azalea Garden Rd. Turn right at Jasper Ct, Turn left at Tarpon Pl. Church parking lot will be on immediate right.
