A Novice, and Battle-worn Tourney, where those who battle in the most chivalrous manner shall ever take the day.

Martial Activities: Novice Tournament - Any weapons form, wounds retained, round robin tournament. Battle-Worn Warrior Tournament - Prepare to be Challenged!

Arts & Sciences Activities: All A & S competitions will offer both novice and open classes, with novices being defined as those who have neither won a major A & S competition nor received a kingdom or Society level A & S award. Any novice, including those classified as youth, may compete in both the novice and open classes. Competitions include best use of elements from the armory of the barony\'s cantons in any medium, most creative scroll blanks for baronial awards, best combination of the practical and the decorative in any medium, and a \"threadbenders\" open fiber arts challenge as well as a bardic competition on the theme of Arthurian legends and/or the Holy Grail. Site Restrictions: The site is wet. No ground fires or smoking indoors. No camping on site.

Feast Information: The long tradition of sumptuous feasts in Hidden Mountain will continue under the aegis of the legendary chef de cuisine, Bishop Geoffrey d\'Ayr of Montalban (yes, the originator of savory toasted cheese in the Society!) with the assistance of “the usual suspects”. From the South via I-95 - Take the SC- 327 exit, EXIT 170, toward Airport/Marion/Myrtle Beach/Francis Marion University. Merge onto N Williston Rd/SC-327. Turn left onto E Old Marion Hwy. Turn left onto E Palmetto St/US-76 E/US-301 N. Continue to follow US-76 E. Stay straight to go onto SC-576/Highway 576. Continue to follow SC-576. COntinue with directions above

From the Coastline - Take your best route to US 17, then to Route 501 North. Keep to the right to continue onto Route 501 Business. Make a right onto Highway 90. Event site will be on your right.
