Crescent Guard Games and Lochmere Arrow Competition
(2009-05-22 - 2009-05-24 - Site opens at 5:00 PM & Closes at 11:30)
Bright Hills

We follow Dante and Virgil on a journey into the underworld, we are assailed by beasts, we fall into the Inferno, we will be assaulted by wasps and hornets, wrapped in Minos tail, face the 10-eyed devil himself and angels both good and evil! Then, at the end of our trip through the Inferno, we must face the perils of the Lochmere Arrow Course, as teams of two representing their Barony. The prestigious trophy is to be won only by an Atlantian team, although all can journey through the course. This weekend-long event includes archery, a target archery marshal class, an advanced archery class, bardic competitions, and an A&S competition.

Directions: The Baltimore Bowmen site has detailed instructions from several directions (www.baltimorebowmen.com). The basics: Find your best route to 695 (Baltimore beltway) on the northwest side of the beltway. Rt. 6 95 crosses I-95 twice, once south of town and once north of town. The site is very close to where I-95 and 695 cross on the north side. On 695, look for exit 31B (Harford Road). Follow Harford Road about 2 miles. Count 3 traffic lights. When you get to the third traffic light you are close (North Wind Road). Follow Harford Road down the hill about a mile. Look for signs on the right. Turn right and follow road thru to the second gate (it is a bumpy road).
