Sacred Stone
Turn not a blind eye to the splendid Phoenix and her fiery light, for she brings you tidings of welcome and cheer! Join the Baron and Baronne, and the noble populace, at the end of the last week of the hottest month, we shall break from our daily labors to gather in celebration of the 26th anniversary of the glorious Barony of Sacred Stone. Website: http:// sacredstone.atlantia.sca.org/ssbb08.html
Martial Activities: There will be plenty of combat activities for those who do not wish to enter the competitions for Baronial Champion. There will be counted blows tournaments to challenge both heavy and light weapons fighters, as well as equestrian, archery and thrown weapons activities.
For more information contact Viscount Sir Axel of Tavastia at wremes@carolina.rr.com
Arts & Sciences Activities: For those who are not inclined to try their hand at becoming a Baronial Champion, we have a number of other exciting A&S challenges. For those in the populace who place appearance on a pedestal we have the Haberdashery Competition. Bring your tallest, widest, and most ornate hats and head coverings. For those with ink and paint in their veins, we put forth a challenge to bring forth a patent so that we may judge their claim of nobility. The subject need not be you; heck, they don’t even need to be real! Your challenge is to make us believe! For more information please Contact Lady Eva Liao at megan.m.webb@gmail.com
