In the spirit of the day, there will be a Viking poetry competition honoring Their Majesties Jason and Gerhild. Any Viking form is acceptable. Documentation is not required but is helpful; half the competition will be the written poem and the other half will be performance of same. The author does not need to be the one performing the piece.
The College of Heralds of Atlantia is sponsoring a Processional Heraldic Display competition. The combatants are encouraged to "dress up" their entourages in grand heraldic tradition! The College of Heralds will also be running a heraldic consultation table, either in the Dining Hall or the Rec Hall.
