Come, bring your horses and do all things equestrian! The event will include an equestrian challenge course, mounted archery, mounted combat training, SCA foam jousting and wooden lance jousting, an Inter Kingdom Equestrian Competition, and all the riding and equestrian practice you want. Start and finish each day with a fine meal by Master Robear and celebrate with bardic each evening around the campfire.

Site: Cattail Hollow Farm, 1586 Ridge Road, Raphine, VA 24472. Site opens at 5PM on Thursday, 30 Aug, and closes at 2PM on Monday, 3 Sep.
Feast Information: Meals will be provided by Master Robear and incredible cooks in Chez Robear! Planned meals are 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 3 dinners. Dinner Friday thru Breakfast Monday. Meal cost ($30) is for all 8 meals: Dinner-Friday, 3 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday, and Breakfast-Monday. The only option is all meals (or nothing). Children 13-17 pay the full meal cost. 0-12 are $0. Meal reservations must be to the Event Steward by Monday, 27 Aug 2012. The only meal reservations are paid reservations.
Merchanting Information: Merchants are allowed/encouraged. Contact the Event Steward for details.
Other Information: The site has two barns with 9 stalls available, hot/cold wash rack, horse trailer parking, outdoor riding arena, covered riding ring, and plenty of pasture space available for riding and camping. Stalls are not required to be used, but are available on a first reserved basis. The site is wet. Pets are allowed on a leash. A hotel and truck stop are available within 2 miles. All other facilties within 10 miles.

Directions:
Best route to I-81 in VA. Take exit 205 for VA 606/Raphine Road. Turn west on Route 606, towards Raphine, and immediately turn left onto Oakland Circle (towards the Wilco-Hess truckstop). Follow Oakland Circle for 1.5 miles, around a right-hand curve and then on up the hill to the stop sign. Turn left onto Ridge Road (State Route 613). Go 1/2 mile and Cattail Hollow will be on your left. 1586 Ridge Road.
