The importance of good archers to the Kingdom cannot be overstated. All archers are called to compete in the Kingdom Archery Championship. Test your skill against the best in the land. Shoots will be designed by the current Atlantian Archery Champion Baron Jonathas Reinisch.

Cost Notes: Gate fee is $15. Camping is no extra cost. Gate fee also includes a side board of light lunchfare.

Site: Elchenburg Castle, 2239 Center Road, Booneville, NC 27011. GPS Coordi¬nates: North 36.17063West 80.72893Elevation 1088 ft.

Site Restrictions: The site is wet and very SCA friendly and has hot showers and flushing toilets as well as strategically placed portalets. It is, however, a fairly primitive site of woods and fields. Folks with mobility issues should be aware of this fact. Ground fires are permitted so long as proper precautions are taken and all wood is removed or thrown into the woods before leaving site.

Feast Information: Feast will be prepared by THL Brianna O Duinn. It will be available to pre-registrations only. Eighty seats will be available.

Merchanting Information: Merchants are a boon to the populace and all are welcomed. Contact the Event Steward.

Other Information: One very serious note. This is a gloriously wet site. However, No One who has consumed alcohol will be allowed to shoot. When you are finished shooting and if you are of age, enjoy, please. Until you are done, soft drinks only.

Directions:
From the SOUTH or NORTH: Take your best route to I-77. Take Exit 82 and turn East at the end of the exit ramp. Proceed less than a mile and turn Right onto Messick Rd. Proceed to the end of Messick Rd, and turn Left onto Center Rd. Approx 8 miles later is a Pure gas station on the left and 1.2 miles past that, is Mitchell Chapel United Methodist Church. The Castle Lane (Willow Springs Lane) is less then 2/10 of a mile further on the Right. Signs will be posted.

From the EAST via Hwy 421: Travel to Exit 259/Reavis Rd. Turn North onto Rea¬vis Rd. Travel .8 miles to stop sign. Turn Right. Travel .5 mile and turn Left onto Center Rd. Travel 3miles and turn Left onto Willow Spring Ln.
