Summer is around the corner and changes are happening in the Barony of Stierbach.  Come join us for the last court of Flaithri and Rhonwen, Baron and Baroness. Help us welcome our new Baron and Baroness, Lord Valgard av Mors and Lady Esperanza Susanna Flecha, at the Barony of Stierbach’s Baronial Birthday and Investiture.

Heavy: There will be a spear tourney, a one-hours bear pit with wounds retained until defeated.  There will also be some melees. No more than one White Scarf or equivalent per team. Following the tournament, until 30 minutes before evening court: White Scarf Workshop and Free Sparring. Members of the Order of the White Scarf will make themselves available for training purposes. Arts & Sciences Activities:  Lady Katarzyna Witkowska, Poeta Atlantiae, will be sponsoring a poetry contest. The subject would be a poem honoring the incoming Baron and Baroness, Lord Valgard av Mors and Lady Esperanza Susanna Flecha. The poem should be written in a period style. Documentation may be short form documentation. Wiglaf Sigeberhting. Come display your recent A&S projects. Pearls, Laurels, this also applies to you!

We will have a competition for the best contribution to war favor and/or kingdom gift baskets. The submissions will be given to Their Majesties to take away. Each participant will get a thank you and the most significant as judged will get an award. Site Restrictions:  Site is dry.  Park in gravel parking lots ONLY.  No animals allowed inside buildings.  Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.  Overnight camping is NOT available.

Feast Information:  Lunch is not included but there are a number of restaurants within the town of Warrenton, about 2 miles away. We will have two Head Cooks, Lord Sigmani Regvinn and Lady Genefe Wölfelin who will be preparing a delicious evening meal.  The theme is a celebration of all four Baronage couples applicants.   Please contact them at for dietary questions at mdunnmusic[AT]gmail.com.  Please note that spots are limited so pre-register as early as possible.
