We bid all archers to join us as we return to our annual Archery competition at our scenic waterfront site in Annapolis for a day of flying objects, feasting, and fellowship.

Martial Activities:  Archery, Archery, and more Archery.  Wandering through the woods; water hazards; Bruce, the shark; and more.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  Their Excellencies Lochmere have requested a competition for a BBQ sauce to go with the piggy at feast.  His Excellency will be the final judge.  There will also be a competition to determine who can create the most interesting story from a random collection of Viking runes.

Cost Notes:  Feast and Lunch are both included in the day-trip cost.  There is no cost for camping, but a heads up to the Event Steward would be appreciated, so that enough space can be allotted.

Site:  132 Riverview Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401 Site opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and closes at noon on Sunday.

Site Restrictions:  Pets are welcome, but must be kept on leashes. Please clean up after your furry children. Site is WET

Feast Information:  We will be having our usual Pig Roast, with all the trimmings.  (See A&S for additional fun).  Lunch is also included.

Directions:

From the west/north/south: Take best route to US-50 East toward the Bay Bridge. Take the Rowe Blvd/Bestgate Road exit(24) down to the light and bear right on to Rowe Blvd South (toward Annapolis). Turn left on Melvin Avenue and again on Ridgeley Avenue (the second left). Continue across Weems Creek and turn right on Riverview Avenue. Follow Riverview Avenue all the way to the end. Site is on the right (with the white horse fence).

From the east: Take best route to US-50 West toward Bowie. Take the Rowe Blvd/Bestgate Road exit(24B) and bear right on to Bestgate Road. At the next light, turn right on to North Bestgate Road. At the stop sign, turn right on to Ridgeley Avenue. Go over the US-50 overpass and take the next left on to Riverview Avenue. Follow Riverview Avenue all the way to the end. Site is on the right (with the white horse fence).
