Isenfir Games Tourney and Demo
(2008-11-15 - Site opens at 12 PM & Closes at 10 PM)
Isenfir

Website: http://isenfir.org/gamesday/

What's your game? Chess? Cards? Armored or rapier combat? Crowns and Anchors? Something else entirely? It doesn't matter, you can play it at Isenfir's Game Day. Come spend the day in the shire known for its love of games, food, and dance, and home to Knights and White Scarves alike. Isenfir's famous Red Mountain Inn will be up and running, with games of chance and busty wenches to keep everyone entertained. Gambling and betting will be rampant (all "money" will be provided of course). If you're more interested in games of strategy, there will be numerous on hand to play, or bring your own.

The Shire is fortunate enough to be the guest of the Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery, purveyors of fine meads and wines. The winery will be open to the public during the day, so this event will also be something of a demo as well. If you have a craft you would enjoy displaying or showing off, please do bring it.

Martial Activities: There will be both armored and rapier combat to amuse the martially inclined (as well as provide plenty of fodder for betting). Fun, shtick, and creativity will be highly rewarded.

Feast: The day's gaming will be followed by a pot-luck feast. Guests are asked to bring a dish sufficient to feed eight, or else make a donation to the Shire's New Pavilion Fund. For more information on feast please contact Baroness Dolce dei Bracchi (Sally Kuntz) at (434) 361-2263 or sallykuntz@juno.com

Dancing: In traditional Isenfir fashion, the evening will be capped off with dances of all varieties. Musicians are most welcome and sought-after, and will be suitably compensated for their efforts.

Merchants are welcome and highly encouraged!

Cost: There is no cost for this event.
