Novice and Unbelt Tourney

The cold, dark months of winter have hidden away our fighters as they practice and hone their skills, waiting for the bright light and warmth of spring.  Come, and join us in welcoming our novice Heavy Fighters to the list fields!  But fighters aren’t the only novices that winter has hidden away.  Join us also as novices in Rapier, Thrown Weapons, Archery and Arts and Sciences display their talents.

The day will hold competitions for all our novices, as well as an Unbelt Tourney.  A limited seating feast will be prepared by a Novice cook and there will be an A&S display area for those who are not novices to inspire and delight the populace.  There will be bardic in the evening in the camping area.

Martial Activities:  Novice Heavy, Rapier, Archery, and Throw Weapons tourneys. Fighters authorized less than a year may enter.  Unbelt Tourney - fighters who are NOT Knights are eligible to enter. Arts & Sciences Activities:  There will be two planned competitions along with an open display. As is tradition we will host a Novice Competition for those working in an art for one year or less. Site Restrictions:  Dogs are welcomed but must be leashed at all times.  Please clean up after your pet.
