(2008-06-27 - 2008-06-29 - Site opens at 4 PM & Closes at 12 PM)
Stierbach

Come One and All to celebrate Stierbach’s Tenth Baronial Anniversary! Like the finest of Atlantia’s wines, each year brings exciting new flavors to experience cultivated in the terroir of tradition and past experience. Share with us the marking of a new year and vintage of Stierbach in our Society.

Baronial Champions Selection:
Their Excellencies Rhonwen and Flaithri will choose Their Baronial Champions from the populace of Stierbach based on activities held throughout the weekend. The current Champions will each hold a challenge of their own to help showcase the skills of our populace, in effort to aid Our Excellencies in their decisions.

Champion's Challenges:

* Baronial Bard:
o The Challenge our Baronial Bard has put forth is a Bardic Bear Pit! Challenge the current Bear to any genre you wish to perform in from Poetry, jokes, stories, songs, to interpretative dance! Any genre you choose, the current holder of the Bear Pit must match! Please contact our Baronial Bard at bertran.de.st.jean@gmail.com for advanced sign-ins, there will be some on-site as well. If you are unable to attend the Bear Pit, but wish to be considered for Stierbach's Baronial Bard, please catch Our Baroness before court to prove your prowess.
* A&S Champion:
o A&S Champion's Challenge is a competition on the theme: "The Red, White, and the Bull": the best showing of the Barony's colors and/or heraldic animal.

Martial Activities: In addition to the Champion's Challenges, there will be rapier and heavy scenarios in an open field that are subject to our Marshal in Charges' whims. For archery, we are having a Mors shoot with new technology added just for Birthday! For those of the thrown persuasion, our Thrown Marshal is working on an exciting challenge for members of the barony and visitors alike to enjoy. Should you have any questions, please contact our Marshal in Charge: Lord Alexandre de Tourouvre at knight-marshal@stierbach.org with any questions you may have.

Arts and Sciences: In addition to Our Champion's Challenge, there will be an open Arts and Sciences display based on the theme: "X marks the Barony". This would be explained as "Your best interpretation of the number 10 (or X) in your work, as well as what you might have been able to accomplish or learn in 10 days, weeks, months or even years"
