Feast of St Andrews

Tear-Sea's Shore

Come on down to Tear-Sea’s Shore for a day of fighting, fun, and feasting for the annual Feast of Saint Andrews. This will be a wonderful event to celebrate the holiday season with friends.

Martial Activities: The main armored tournament will be the Great Weapons and Mass Weapons tournament. There will also be an open armored combat tournament.

Arts & Sciences Activities: For Art and Sciences Competitions we will have the traditional Dessert Competition judged by the populace. Documentation is encouraged, ingredients list is required. We will have an open A&S competition. The themed competition this year will be Arts from the lands St Andrews travelled. Documentation is encouraged. There will also be a Baronial Scroll blank competition for Baronial Award scrolls. Experienced scribes create a blank for one of the Order awards. Novice scribes create a blank for one of the “cloud” awards. Scroll texts will be made available.

Adult, Member: $8.00 Day-Trip, $8.00 Feast

Adult, Non-member: $11.00 Day-Trip, $8.00 Feast

Youth (6–17): $5.00 Day-Trip, $8.00 Feast

Child (0–5): $0.00 Day-Trip, $0.00 Feast

Cost Notes: No refunds shall be approved once the site opens. All refund requests must be received in writing (electronic or otherwise) by the exchequer no later than 7 days prior to the event.

Site: Lowcountry Girl Scouts Plantation 1280 Three Mile Road, Cordesville, SC 29434

Site Restrictions: No pets. No ground fires. Dry site.

Directions:
From the North: you have two main choices take your best route to Columbia SC or Florence SC. From Columbia SC area: take I-26E to US ALT 17 N exit 199B towards Moncks Corner. Follow 17A until it joins with Hwy52 in Moncks Corner. Turn Left onto Hwy 52/17A. Turn right onto Hwy 402. Follow the remaining directions.

From Florence SC area: take Hwy 52 south. After passing the town of Santee Circle, look for the HWY 402 sign. Turn Left at the light for Hwy 402. Follow the remaining Directions.

From the Eas t- take Hwy Alt 17 towards Moncks Corner. As you approach Moncks Corner, HWY 17A joins Hwy 52 at a stoplight where you will need to turn left. At the next light turn left onto Hwy 402 and follow the remaining directions.

From the South take I-26 W to exit 199B Alt 17 north towards Moncks Corner. Turn left onto Hwy 52/17A. Turn right onto Hwy 402. Follow remaining directions. Remaining directions: Make an immediate right to continue on 402 towards Cordesville. In approximately 9 miles turn right onto 3 Mile Rd (this is an unpaved road.) Continue straight at the crossroads to the site entrance.
