The year is 1381 the peasants\' discontent has not settled with the reaping of the harvest. PREPARE for the uprising. We shall offer an experience the likes of which have never been seen in our fair Kingdom. COME ye bold fighters and archers, ye crafters of fine works and clever words.  There will be a place for everyone to participate. No one shall be left to languish as we join together in a time of ROCKing games, martial activities, and a PLAGUE of possible enjoyments.  COME ye bold fighters and archers, ye crafters of fine works and clever words. We have a place for all on the beautiful coast. The Shire of Cathanar extends our most heartfelt invitation to come and participate in this wondrous event of epic proportions.

Martial Activities:  The Peasants and Nobles will take the field for the Honor and Glory of their side in Heavy, Rapier, Thrown Weapons, and Archery

Arts & Sciences Activities:  A roving A & S competition. You are asked to bring something you have been working on only for the last year or your newest skill/project and take it around to explain it to the attendees to help support your side and hopefully inspire someone with their A & S project.

Cost Notes:  $40.00 Cap for Family of 4 Camping prices are for Tenting only. Cabins are onsite for $15.00 per Bunk

Site:  156 Albemarle Dr, Newport, NC 28570. Site opens Friday noon, closes Sunday noon.

Site Restrictions:  No pets. Service animals only.  Site is Discreetly Wet. Absolutely no driving to cabins or on grass unless directed by event staff

Other Information:  All Bards, Jokesters and Punners are welcome to come to ply your trade for the enjoyment and advancement of your side. Dodge Rock, the Plague and Ransoms are just a few of things that can be caught at this event

Directions:  

From North and West: Make the best way to NC Hwy 70East. At junction of NC Hwy 70E and NC Hwy 24W turn right onto NC Hwy 24W and site is 11 miles on left

From South: Make the best way to NC Hwy 17N. At junction of NC Hwy 17N and NC Hwy 24E take NC hwy 24E and continue 43 miles to site on right.
