Noble Gentles, join the Barony of Black Diamond in true 14th century fashion as we celebrate the Birthday of Edward, the Black Prince of Wales. The day will consist of contests of arms, mounted games, archery and a wide assortment of arts and sciences.

Martial Activities: There will be a heavy tourney, rapier tourney and archery shoots throughout the day as well as mounted games. Contact luther_josephus@yahoo.com for information.

Arts & Sciences Activities: Competitions will include: Illuminated scroll, brewing, fiber arts, novice (1yr or less of entered craft) open display, childrens A&S under 12 and 12-17, best encampment, heraldry and bardic. Contact dkpalmer1969@yahoo.com with questions.

Site: Bland County Fairgrounds, 1 Fairground Drive Bland, VA 24315
Site Restrictions: Pets must be on a leash.

Feast Information: A Simple feast will be prepared by Lord Luther Josephus. Dietary concerns or questions should be directed to luther_josephus@yahoo.com

Merchant Information: Merchants are welcome but please contact the Event Steward with your tent size for site set up. There is no merchant fee.

Directions:
From NC: Take I-77 north into VA. I-77N will merge with I-81 south. Follow I-77 towards Wytheville. Take the I-77 split towards Charleston, WV. Follow I-77 for about 12 miles to exit 52 (Bland) take a right at the end of the ramp, right at the stop sign, left at fairground road, beside the BB&T bank.
From northern VA: Take I-81 south to I-77 north and follow above directions from there.
SCA signs will be posted from the interstate exit to the site.
