Sit back and relax as the fighters of our great kingdom vie for the oldest tourney prize in Atlantia. Marvel in the creativity of the artist of our fair kingdom. Sate yourself on a tasty feast to warm your belly and your soul.
Martial Activities: Heavy fighting: Come challenge Lord Afshin Darius, the current holder of the Brooch of Manannan mac Lir. Hand crafted by our very own Mistress Megara di Alessandra for the very first tourney twenty-seventh years ago. Rapier fighting: Not as old but just as prized is the brooch for the rapier champion, also handcrafted by Mistress Megara. The current holder is Lady Halima al-Shafiiyah
Arts & Sciences Activities: Arts & Sciences: To honor of the Kingdom of Atlantia and Manannan mac Lir, we will be judging items that include the use of seahorses in any medium. There will also be a category that incorporates Irish art.

Cost Notes: The Cost: Site fee is $3.00 for adults, and $2.00 for 17-6yrs (reservations post marked before January 1st). After January 1st and at the gate site fee is $5 for adults and $4.00 for 17-6yrs. The cost for Feast is $7.00 per person. Children 5yrs and under are guests of the Canton. Adult non-members must add a $3.00 non-member surcharge. Please make any reservation checks payable to: The Canton of Tear Sea's Shore, SCA Inc. and send them directly to The Event Steward. Site: This glorious day of fun will be enjoyed at the Lowcountry Girl Scouts Plantation 1280 3 Mile Road, Cordesville, SC 29434. The site opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 11:00 p.m. This is a dry site. No pets please. Feast: The menu for the Feast will be hearty Irish fare to satisfy the weary traveler. From Columbia SC area: take I-26E to US ALT 17 N exit 199B towards Moncks Corner. Follow 17A until it joins with Hwy52 in Moncks Corner. Turn Left onto Hwy 52/17A. Turn right onto Hwy 402. Follow the remaining directions.
From Florence SC area: take Hwy 52 south. After passing the town of Santee Circle, look for the HWY 402 sign. Turn Left at the light for Hwy 402. Follow the remaining Directions.
From the East: take Hwy Alt 17 towards Moncks Corner. As you approach Moncks Corner, HWY 17A joins Hwy 52 at a stoplight where you will need to turn left. At the next light turn left onto Hwy 402 and follow the remaining directions.
From the South: take I-26 W to exit 199B Alt 17 north towards Moncks Corner. Turn left onto Hwy 52/17A. Turn right onto Hwy 402. Follow remaining directions.

Make and immediate right to continue on 402 towards Cordesville. In approximately 9 miles turn right onto 3 Mile Rd (this is an unpaved road.) Continue straight at the crossroads to the site entrance.
