Caer Mear's 35th Jubilaun Fest (The Anniversary Feast)

Come and join us as the Barony of Caer Mear celebrates its 35th year!  The barony is currently under German rule by Baron Wolfgang Moennich von Luppin and Baroness Iseulte of the Red Cliffs.  There will be heavy weapons, rapier and thrown weapons in the morning.  The afternoon and early evening will feature a special feast in the medieval style prepared by the cooks, bakers and brewers of Caer Mear.  This feast will last many hours with time for entertainment and socializing.  As the evening draws on a revel will take place.  Join the dancing, take time to socialize, and enjoy a dessert from the side board.

Martial Activities:  Armored, Rapier and Thrown Weapons. The event Marshall In Charge is Lady Osa the Archer (Samantha Baxter) and the Mistress of the List is Baroness Bojzena Z Osturna (Kathleen Warren).

Arts & Sciences Activities:  Table décor is an important part of this event. Use your creative skills and have the best table décor.  There will also be a competition of silk banner paintings.  Contact Baroness Magda Z Stalburg with any questions.

Cost Notes:  Pre-register by March 1, 2013 and save $2.00 on the gate fee. ALL Youth are exempt from gate fees but MUST pay for feast.  Due to limited seating, pre-registration for feast is required.

Site:  Tomahawk Ruritan Club 4101 North Bailey Bridge Road, Midlothian VA 23112 . Opens at 8:30 am and closes at 11:00 pm.

Site Restrictions:  Wet Site-Beer and Wine only and is not provided.  No pets.  No open fires.

Feast Information:  A Medieval Feast is being prepared by the cooks, bakers and brewers of Caer Mear.  This afternoon into the evening meal will be primarily German. Feast pre-registration is required and closes on March 1, 2013. Mestre Tomas de Montroig (Master Thomas Longshanks is the feast coordinator.

Merchanting Information:  There is not any space for merchants at this event.

From South: Make your best way to 95N toward Richmond, take Exit 62 toward Chesterfield/Powhite Parkway (288 N), travel 13 miles then merge onto US 360 Hull Street Road toward Richmond, go approximately 1.1 miles.  **Turn right onto North Bailey Bridge Road. Go 0.2 miles site is on left side of road.

From West: Make your best way to 64E toward Richmond, take  Exit 175 toward Chesterfield (288 N), travel 19.5 miles, then merge onto US 360 Hull Street Road toward Richmond, go approximately 1.6 miles. Follow from ** above.

From North: Make your best way to 95S toward Richmond, take Exit 79 toward US-60 W/Powhite Pkwy/US 360 W. go 2.6 miles. Keep left to take VA-76 S toward VA-150/Powhite Pkwy/US-60/US360 (Portions toll) go 2.3 miles. Keep left at the fork to go on VA-76S/Powhite PKY (portions toll) go 1.3 miles ; Merge onto VA-150 S/Chippenham Pky via LEFT exit go 3.2 miles ; merge onto US 360 Hull Street Road toward Richmond, go approximately 6.2 miles Follow from ** above.
