Directions:
From West of Richmond, on I-64, take the exit for 522 South and proceed south for approximately 20 miles until you reach US60/Anderson Hwy. Turn right (east) on Anderson Hwy. Proceed for aprox. 1.5 miles and make a U-turn at State Rte. 1005 (going back west on 60). The fairgrounds will be less than a mile ahead on your Right. 

From North or South of Richmond - take 95 to exit 62 for Route 288N. Proceed approx. 20 miles to the exit for US60 West/ Midlothian Turnpike. Proceed west for approx. 15 miles (60 becomes Anderson Hwy. in Powhatan) and the Fairgrounds will be on the right. 



Restrictions:
Pets must be leashed and may not enter the building. No groundfires. No alcohol.

Accessibility:
Site has handicapped bathroom stalls and handicapped parking spaces will be provided. The land is flat to slightly rolling from the primary parking area. There are no paved walkways or sidewalks.

Description:
Join the Kingdom of Atlantia in celebrating the ascension of the Royal heirs, Abran and Anya, to the Thrones of Atlantia.  We will be taken on a journey into Toledo, Spain in the late 13th century and enjoy tournaments, revelries, pageantry, and feasting to honor the day and Their Majesties.  Much more detailed information will be available on the event website.

Cost Notes:
Prices listed here reflect pre-registration fees ONLY.  If registering at the gate on the day of the event, the cost will be an additional $10 for adults ($30 for members; $40 for non-members) and an additional $5 for youth ($15 for all youth 10-17 years of age). Please take advantage of the discount and pre-register. 
Refund requests must be sent to the event reservationist, in writing or email, within 5 days of close of the event.  No Feast refunds will be made unless received 7 days or earlier before the event, or if feast tickets are sold the day of the event on a first come first refunded basis. No refunds will be made if the event does not make a profit.   All refund checks uncleared within 120 days of issue will be voided and returned to the Baronial General Fund.

Martial Activities:

Never Won a Tourney Tournament – Open to any fighter who has never won a singles or melee tourney. Fought Atlantian Speed, Double Elimination.
Arthurian Quest - Pas D’arms fought at various Stations spread around the site with various weapons and victory conditions. Face The Green Knight in single combat, or best The Questing Beast in mellee! (Additional Details to follow!)
The Battle of Badon Hill - Grand Mellee: Fought to the last man.
The Battle of Camlann - Warlord Tourney: From a single fight, build your melee team to a final all vs. all battle. The Victorious side will fight a tournament to decide the ultimate Warlord.
Her Majesty’s Birthday Bash (Five Weapons Challenge) - Her Majesty has requested a feat of arms to end the fighting day during Pick Ups. Combatants will face off in Five Exciting Rounds of Matched Weapons.

Competitions:
Cultura Atlantia - themes are 13th century Iberia, Astronomy & Astrology.

Documentation required:
General Competition, any art or science form accepted - themes are 13th century Toledo & mixed cultural influences
- secondary prize for best use of swords

Sweets cooking competition - bonus points for use of marzipan

Blacksmithing competition - best forged blade

Battle scribal - artist will have 4 hours to complete a scroll blank. Bonus points given for use of any of the event's themes.

Poetry competition - create a poem in any period style about a hero. 
- Prompt competition for poems created the day of, to be judged separately, documentation not required.

Classes: 
Crime & Punishment in 16th century Seville; more to follow.

Open Activities:  Open Display; Bardic Circle; Dance

Displays and competitions will be open for entries at 9am. Judging will close at 3pm - please pick up your entries prior to evening court. 

Feast:
Baroness Gracia Esperança de Sevilla and her team will be preparing a sumptuous feast for up to 70 feasters to enjoy. Pre-register to reserve your space at her table. A detailed menu will follow.  

Merchants:
Merchants will be welcome and there will be plenty of outdoor space, as well as potentially very limited indoor space to set up your wares. Merchants interested in setting up shop should preregister for the event and contact the Event Steward, Melisent la Ruse, via email at melisentlaruse@gmail.com to reserve their merchant space.
