Restrictions:
No camping onsite. Day shades and pop- ups allowed. Please contact the Event Steward for field space. This is a Dry site. No open fires are permitted on site. No smoking except in designated areas. No animals in the indoor areas.

Accessibility:
There are handicap bathrooms available as well as a ramp leading into the hall along the side of the building. 
Ground is soft grass with a bordering sidewalk. 
Shade is minimal so come prepared with popup or some sort of shading.

Description:
Heavy and Rapier for all types of tournaments! 
This event is Hidden Mountain's Novice Tourney for those fighters, both heavy and Rapier, who have not won a tournament. The winner and their consort (who must be onsite) will win a pair, one each, of Silver Chalices engraved with the name and date of the event.  Now is your time to win! 
But, that is not all for there will be a Triton Tournament, both heavy and rapier, shortly after the novice tournament and if that is not enough fighting, there will be one more tournament, on the anniversary passing of the founding Baron of Hidden Mountain. This tournament will honor the memory of Baron Syr Eldon Ungol and this will be a bear pit style tournament, all weapons forms, winner will take home a special prize. 

It was the custom in the early days of Silver Chalice for a prize to be given to the person who displays the most chivalry on the field. This person will be chosen by the popular vote of the populace watching the tournaments. This will be the most chivalrous from all tournaments. There will be a prize for the most chivalrous heavy fighter and the most chivalrous rapier fighter.
Theres’s more! The custom also chose the fighter who entertained the crowd with the most dramatic death, so pull out those acting skills and make the crown laugh. This person will also be chosen by the populace watching and popular choice. There will be a prize for heavy and rapier. 



There will be Arts and Sciences inside the hall during the day, a feast in the evening and comradery all.day.long!  Please join us!

9:00 a.m. – MOL Opens
10:00 a.m. – Inspections, Authorizations and Pickups
10:00 a.m. – A&S Competition/Display opens inside the Hall

1:00 p.m. - Class – Introduction to SCA 101 – Dame Morwenna
 
1:30 p.m. – Gate Closes
 
2:00 p.m. – A&S closes, Pickup entries.
 
2:30 p.m. – Deadline to turn in votes for best death and most chivalrous
 
4:00 p.m. – Court
 
5:30 p.m. – Feast

1. All requests for refunds shall be made in writing prior to the closing of the event and by the person who made the reservation or their designated representative.
2. Refund requests from those not in attendance at the event should be made via email to the Event Steward and/or Baronial Exchequer at their published email addresses. Such requests must be dated no later than midnight of the day of the event.
3. All refunds will be at the discretion of the Barony of Hidden Mountain Financial Committee. While the Barony makes every effort to honor refund requests, it reserves the right to refuse requests received after completion of the event, requests associated with unprofitable events or for feast seats cancelled less than 24 hours before feast which cannot be resold.
4. All refunds will be made by check drawn on the Barony account to be mailed no later than 15 days after the end of the event.
