Directions:
From the North: Take US 29 South through Culpeper. Turn right on Mountain Run Lake Road. Mountain Run Winery is a right turn off Mountain Run Road.
From the South: Take US 29 North. Just before you reach Culpeper turn left on Mountain Run Lake Road. Mountain Run Winery is a right turn off Mountain Run Road.
Restrictions:
Mountain Run Winery is family-friendly and pet-friendly. For those patrons who want a kid-free experience, we have a small lounge area that is 21+.
Attended children are welcome in the tasting rooms and on winery grounds. We have a playground on site for children ages 5-12 to enjoy as well as swings and a smaller slide structure that younger children can also play on. Only our second floor private lounge area is dedicated an adults-only space, with the exception of children allowed during private events.
Dogs on leashes are permitted in all areas of the winery as well excepting the 21+ lounge room.
Smoking is allowed outside on the property ONLY in areas that are 20 or more feet from our tasting room barn area or any other winery building. Please use the tobacco waste receptacles provided to help keep us clean and green. There is NO SMOKING allowed in any room on the winery grounds, even for private events.

Once a year, the veil between worlds grows thin, and ancient roads, long lost to time, reveal themselves once more. In the hidden places of history—where mysticism, superstition, and the macabre ruled the Middle Ages—a crossroads took root, forged by those who walked the forgotten paths of the thinning veil. Now, at the heart of that fracture, lies a place where treasures are exchanged, memories are honored, and history breathes, here at the Hallowed Market.
As the newly born Mourning Moon ascends, the pathways are open to this archaic place and we invite all to journey past this threshold with us. Beyond this threshold, wanderers and traders from the medieval world converge. Viking storytellers, Celtic mystics, Moorish scholars, and Mongol horsemen arrive to share relics, secrets, and stories. Some bring offerings for the dead, others seek wisdom from spirits who linger beyond the veil.
The journey will be dangerous, so disguise yourself in attire to blend in with the medieval denizens of this market. You may find yourself trading tokens from another realm, unearthing forgotten tales by firelight, or discovering the rituals of long lost lands. Will you walk among the traders of forgotten civilizations? Carry home a relic from another age? Or leave changed, haunted by whispers of those who once stood in your place?
