It matters not the reason you loose your bow, ax, knife, or spear—be it for combat, food, sport or to protect your home from the denizens of the wild—Boonville, North Carolina, is the place to be! The woods and fields around Castle Elchenburg will be filled with beasts of the mundane and mythical kind, all for your hunting pleasure! This event is open to target archery, thrown weapons and atlatl. Newcomers and beginners are welcome. Prizes will be given for each skill level. Plan to be challenged by a variety of stationary and moving targets!

Site: Elchenburg Castle, Triplette Farm, 2239 Center Road, Booneville, NC 27011. Site opens Friday at 5:00 PM and closes Sunday at 12:00 noon.
Site Notes: Free camping on site with your registration. Wet site. Hot showers and flush toilets. Hotels nearby.

Feast Information: There will be no feast. Roanwoulfe Tavern will be on site for those wishing to purchase their always fine sustenance. Other food is available in nearby Yadkinville, Jonesville, Elkin, and Booneville.

Merchanting Information: Merchants are encouraged.

Directions from the SOUTH or NORTH:
Take your best route to I-77. Take Exit 82 and turn east at the end of the exit ramp. Proceed less than a mile and turn right onto Messick Rd. Proceed to the end of Messick Rd, and turn left onto Center Rd. Approx 8 miles later is a Pure gas station on the left and 1.2 miles past that is Mitchell Chapel United Methodist Church. The Castle Lane (Willow Springs Lane) is less then 2/10 of a mile further on the Right. Signs will be posted.
Directions from the EAST via Hwy 421: Travel to Exit 259 Reavis Rd. Turn North onto Reavis Rd. Travel .8 miles to stop sign. Turn right. Travel 0.5 mile and turn Left onto Center Rd. Travel 3 miles and turn left onto Willow Spring Ln.
