Feast of St. Pyr VII
(2010-03-27 - 2010-03-28 - Site opens at 8 AM & Closes at 2 PM)
Black Diamond

Now that the harsh winter has past, it is time once again to celebrate the life of St. Pyr, who met his untimely end after drunkenly falling into a well. We will stay far away from all wells, and instead focus our attention on period brews. There will be tastings, brewing classes, competitions, and more! (Bring proof of age to participate in all classes that involve alcohol; only those 21 or older will be allowed to partake.) For other diversions, there will also be classes on many other topics, with something to suit every interest. Stay for Saturday night’s roaring bonfire and bardic, which will feature (what else?) renditions of your best drinking songs!

Class listings, competitions, and other details will be posted to Black Diamond’s website as they become available: http://www.black-diamond.atlantia.sca.org

Cost:

$5 per adult member, which includes tent camping. Nonmembers add $3.

Children younger than 16 are free. Bring proof of age.
