Come celebrate the birth of the great Barony of Storvik! There will be feasting, fighting, and much merriment! Their Royal Highnesses will officiate as we say farewell to our beloved Baron and Baroness and hail the new baronage. Martial Activities: Heavy fighting, rapier and target archery. Baronial champions will be chosen this day – make sure to get your favor at MoL’s table if you wish to be considered!
A&S: Afternoon brewers’ roundtable at 2pm; please bring something homebrewed to share if possible. Also an A&S display with a Norse theme. Brewing: There will be a brewing roundtable starting at 2pm, followed by a “cocktail party” before Court. Please bring something, preferably homebrewed, to the roundtable. Boasting: There will be a boasting competition during Feast. Bring it!

Cost Notes: Feast is $8 per seat. Site fee is $8 for adult members, $13 for adult non-members, $3 for those under 18 years of age. Pre-registration discount: $2.00 off per-person site fee if registration received by August 31, 2010. There is no site fee for children under 5 years of age. The only reservation is a paid reservation! Sign up early to guarantee a seat at this wonderful feast!
Site: Patuxent River Park, 16000 Croom Airport Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. Pavilion/tent camping is available; modern tents in the rear please. Flush toilets on site but no showers. Site is relatively flat and the bathrooms have an accessibility ramp. Handicapped parking close to the event will be provided. If you have accessibility concerns please contact the Event Steward. Site opens Friday (see baronial site for time). We must be cleaned up and off site by noon on Sunday.
Site Restrictions: Pets welcome on leashes per State Law. Owners are responsible for controlling and cleaning up after their pets. Please put your trash in dumpsters provided. No ground fires – bring firebowls or use the fire rings already in place. The site is discreetly damp – absolutely no original containers.
Feast Information: A delicious feast is being prepared by Baronecza Graciela Esperanca de Sevilla. Please contact her with allergy concerns: baroness[AT]black-diamond.atlantia.sca.org. Lunch will be provided for a fee to raise funds for the Storvik Fighter Practice.
Camping: Camping space will be reserved for pre-registered people first (they get priority on the shady areas!); all others must check with the Master of the Field or at Troll about where to camp.
Merchants: We have plenty of shady space close to the tourney fields for merchant booths. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be coming so we may plan accordingly. There is no additional fee for merchants above the regular site fee. Please contact Event Steward to reserve space.

Note 1: If you miss Croom Station Road turn from US-301, the next traffic light is Croom Road/MD-382S. Turn left and follow directions below.
Note 2: While on Croom Airport Road do NOT turn left at any point.
