Can you believe it? A full decade has passed since Hawkwood became a Barony!!! Even though Hawkwood is an old soul with a long and revered past in Atlantia, we still kick our heels up like youngsters! So come celebrate our 10th birthday with us, celebrate the Investiture of our new Baron and Baroness, revel in the coming of Spring, and just have a rootin’, tootin’ good time up here in the mountains with that fun-loving gang in the Barony of Hawkwood!

Martial Activities: Fight ‘Till You Drop!!! Several melee tourneys and if time permits, Bedford Points Tourneys to insure all the combat you could possibly want! List opens at 10:00; authorizations begin at 12:00, and tourneys begin at 1:00!

Cost Notes: Site fee before 4/18: Adult member $12; Adult non-member $17; Youth $6 Children 5 and under are guests of the Barony, but MUST have a reservation if occupying a seat during feast. Feast is sold by SEAT, not age! Non-member adults must add $5 to the above prices. All refund requests must be received IN WRITING within 7 days of the end of the event. The only true reservation is a PAID reservation! Include email address for confirmation.

Site Restrictions: No The site is wet. No pets allowed. Parking only in designated areas. Site opens Friday (April 25) at 5:00 pm and closes Sunday (April 27) at 11:00 a.m. There is plenty of tent camping space and there are heated cabins for the first 25 to reserve cabin space. Please specify your preference in your reservation.

Feast Information: A scrumptious and delightful feast will be prepared by Lady Heather Hrafnsdottir. Dietary concerns should be addressed to: hlrumpf[AT]gmail.com and a menu with ingredients will be posted on our website the month of the event. Feast is limited to 66 seats/chairs.

Directions:

Find your best route to I-26, exit 40, Airport Road exit. Coming from the north/west, turn left at the ramp onto Airport Road; Coming from the south/east, turn right at ramp onto Airport Road. Follow Airport Road until it junctions with Hendersonville Road. Turn right onto Hendersonville Road. The entry to Lutheridge is less than a quarter mile on the right on Hendersonville Road. Signs will be posted (unless they get stolen again!).
