Come one and all to celebrate with us our patron saint, St. Pyr, in this our fifth day of feasting and revelry. Peasant fare of breads and butters are included in site fee.

Arts & Sciences Activities: Scribal competition for best depiction of a saint's demise or miracle. St Pyr preferred. Documentation recommended. Brewing competitions in the following catagories: Meads, Beers, Cordials, and Flavored Vinegars including Sekanjabans. Documentation recommended. Food competition of meat pies in two categories: Period Meat Pie and Modern Meat Pie. Documentation required. See our website for more details. Classes, Classes, Classes!

Cost Notes: Early registraton by March 1, 2008, has bonus of $3 less on admission ($7 for adult mbr, $10 for adult non-mbr, $5 for youth). Children 5 and under are guests of the Canton.

Feast Information: Potluck feast with breads and butters provided by the Canton. Recommendation is that contributions to the feast based on SCA first names, A to H side dish, I to P Main dish, Q to Z desserts.

Directions:
From I-581 (exit 143 off I81): Take Elm Avenue (Route 24 East). Turn Left at top of exit. Continue on Elm Avenue, which will change names several times. After going under the train tracks, Turn left at the second light, South Pollard Street. Then turn right on Gus Nicks Boulevard/Washington Avenue (two lights) and continue on Washington Avenue for about 3 blocks. Turn left into the Vinton War Memorial parking area. The senior center is to the right.
From Route 460 in Roanoke: Turn on Gus Nicks Boulevard at Hardee’s. Gus Nicks Boulevard will change names and become Washington Avenue. Continue on Washington Avenue and turn left into the Vinton War Memorial parking area. The senior center is on the right.
