Bright Hills Baronial Birthday
(2014-02-08 - Site opens at 9 AM & Closes at 10 PM)
Atlantia

Join us as we wish Master Chirhart and Mistress Jeanne a Happy Retirement and welcome Their Heirs as the 7th Coronets of Bright Hills. In the dim and misty past (20 years ago), Bright Hills became the 13th barony of the Kingdom of Atlantia. Perhaps knowing that they were beginning a long tradition, the weather gods marked the occasion with a snow storm that closed the site. By royal decree the event took place in spite of the weather, in the home of the gracious Master Chirhart and Mistress Jeanne. Preserving the Past: In celebration of our two decades of baronial status (and our prior history as the Shire of Bright Hills), we wish to gather any records not yet preserved on the baronial archives. Since those ancient times saw the infancy of not only the barony but also the mystical art of digital photography, we ask everyone to look to your albums and bring old photographs of baronial history to the hall, where there will be three scanners set up for copying them. We will have a book of the sagas and stories -- please stop by and add stories you would like to have remembered. You can send them ahead of time by the hand of your virtual scribe [email], bring printed copies to the event, or sit down and record any you recall that day. The event officially runs from 10am to 10pm, volunteers for set up and clean up outside of those hours are welcome! Schedule and activity updates will appear on the event webpage.
