Come out to the Hawkwood Chicken Festival! We’ll have chickens, and more chickens, and chicken stuff, and stuff about chickens, and chicken flavored stuff, and chickens to eat, chickens to pet, and chickens to just sort of hang out with... It’s pretty much all about the chicken.

Martial Activities:  Chicken Themed Thrown Weapons and Archery Tournaments! Baddest Cock on the Block Tourney: Armoured fighting will have a Round Rooster Tourney to determine the Baddest Cock amongst themselves. Super Chicken Munchkin Tourney: Rapier fighters will have a Tourney of Lord Marius\' own creation. Starting with single sword, they will draw Munchkin-Type cards throughout the tourney which will affect their style of fighting.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  Chicken themed Poetry contest! Chicken themed stories and songs Contests! Best Chicken or Egg based foods! Most Creative use of feathers contest (any type of feather ... we\'re not biased when it comes to feathers in this Barony).

Cost Notes:  Camping is free. Heated cabin space with shower is available for up to 25 people for a small fee of $5.00 per bed (bring your bedding and towels). Please specify your preference when making your reservation and include an email address for confirmation. Children 5 and under are guests of the Barony for the event, but MUST have a reservation if occupying a seat during feast.  Feast is sold by SEAT, not age!

Site Restrictions:  The site is wet. No pets allowed. Seriously, NO PETS. Parking only in designated areas.

Feast Information:  A scrumptious and delightful feast will be prepared by Lady Heather Hrafnsdottir, host of The Kitchen of the Rampant Golden Chicken.
All Chicken. All the time. (With some vegetarian dishes that may feature chicken shaped elements.)

Find your best route to I-26, exit 40, Airport Road exit. Coming from the north/west, turn left at the ramp onto Airport Road; Coming from the south/east, turn right at ramp onto
Airport Road. Follow Airport Road until it junctions with Hendersonville Road. Turn right onto Hendersonville Road. The entry to Lutheridge is less than a quarter mile on the right on Hendersonville Road.
