As the last breath of winter blows, the populace begins to emerge and shake off the winter chill by gathering and sharing skills we’ve learned and honed over the long, cold dark of Winter. Come and take any of a wide variety of classes (check our website for class details) or volunteer to teach one. Enjoy a lunch (included in the site fee) prepared by Gwenhwyvar Ywein and students.

Activities: Classes on a variety of topics. There are no formally planned martial activities. There will be no specific children’s activities, though young people 10 and older are invited to participate in classes. (Parents are encouraged to attend classes with those on the lower end of the age range.) Classes from 10 am - 12 pm and then again from 1 pm-6 pm

Site: Izaak Walton League Hall, 26430 Mullinix Mill Road, Damascus, MD 20872 The site is dry. Assistance animals are welcome, though accessibility for those with mobility impairments is less than ideal.

Merchanting Information: Space is limited inside, but merchants who want to brave what could be cold wet weather are welcome to set up outside. Contact the Event Steward for more info.

Directions: From points south: Take I-95 N Washington. Take a slight right at Henry G Shirley Memorial Hwy (signs for I-395 N/I-495 N/Washington/Tysons Corner). Take exit 170B to merge onto I-495 N toward Tysons Corner. Take a slight left at I-270 Spur N. Merge onto I-270 N. Take the exit toward Ridge Rd. Keep right at the fork to continue toward Ridge Rd and merge onto Ridge Rd. Take a slight right to stay on Ridge Rd. Continue onto Main St. Continue onto Damascus Rd. Turn left at Mullinix Mill Rd.

From points north along the I-70 corridor: Take I-70 E to Frederick. Take exit 68 to merge onto MD-27 S/Ridge Rd toward Damascus. Turn left at Ridge Rd. Continue onto Main St. Continue onto Damascus Rd. Turn left at Mullinix Mill Rd.

From Baltimore and points east along the I-70 corridor: Take I-70 W toward Frederick. Take exit 73 for MD-94 S toward Lisbon. Turn left at MD-94 S/Woodbine Rd. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on MD-94 S/Woodbine Rd. Turn right at Damascus Rd/MD-108 W. Turn right at Mullinix Mill Rd.
