Highland Foorde

The Barony of Highland Foorde invites you to a Hofla, Middle Eastern dance party. There will be dancing, Arts and Science displays and good food. Come dance with us or the dancers with a resounding "Opa." Dancers, teachers and drummers are encouraged to attend.

Display your best Middle Eastern area of comfort. Bring mats, pillows, rugs and whatever other items that will express your flair for decorating. There will be tables available for those of our friends who are not able to sit on the floor.

Dancing classes will be provided. More information will be available at the site. Those who wish to teach, please come and share your skills with others.

Martial Activities: There will be no martial activates at this event.

Arts & Sciences Activities: However there will be a display of Arts and Sciences with a "Middle Eastern" theme. This display only and be works in progress. There will be no competition.

Cost:

Adult, Member: $ 2.00 Day-Trip
Adult, Non-Member: $ 5.00 Day-Trip
Child (6-17): $ 2.00 Day-Trip
Cost Notes: The cost of the event will be $2.00 per person. A $3.00 non-member surcharge applied. There will be no pre-registration. Children 5 and under are guests of the Barony.

Site: The site of the event will be at the Wilson Ruritan in Hagerstown, MD. The site will open at 9:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM.
Site Restrictions: The site is wet, but use period containers only please. No pets are allowed in the building with the exception of service animals.

Feast: The feast will be a potluck meal. Please bring a dish that will serve 8-10 people. Your dish may be period, if you want to try your skill. Any edible food is acceptable.

Directions:
From I-70 west take exit 24 (Williamsport/Greencastle Pike) toward Huyett. Turn left onto National Pike/US-40 at Sheetz. It is 0.4 miles on right.
