The Canton of Haukesgate
invites our Barony and friends
for the most relaxed and laid
back event imaginable. Just A
Tourney is precisely this! This
is an ideal event for those
who may benefit from a less
overwhelming introduction to
all we enjoy about the SCA.
Go back to the simplistic days
of the SCA and enjoying an
event where laughter with
friends while enjoy what we
love is the only priority of the
day!
| Fighting | Armored and rapier fighters will
enjoy fun and casual flighting as
determined by the number of
fighters. This is a booty prize so
bring a contribution to the prize
chest for your field! |
| Arts & Sciences: | Artisan of all kinds, please
bring something you would
like to display and talk about,
or perhaps something that is
in progress that you love, so
we can be inspired by your
talents and enjoy them more
closely. |
| Feast: | A main protein and main
veggie will be provided for at
least 35 gentles. The
remaining dishes are
potluck/bring your best dish! A
dish sign-up will be posted on
the FB event page, so we
don't have a lot of potato
salad. |
| Merchanting: | Welcome and no extra effort
required to attend. Just come on
out if you would like to enjoy the
day too! |
| Other: | The biggest point of the event is
for all the hard working hands
that cook, clean and serve to do
nothing but enjoy the company.

| Registration Notes: | Cancelation and Refund
Policy: Event refunds must be
provided as follows: A.
Cancellations received at
least 7 days prior to the start
of the event will be refunded
once the funds have cleared
and may be processed at the
Baronial Exchequer’s earliest
convenience regardless of the
profit or loss of the event. B.
No refunds will be given if the
event does not make a profit.
C. No refunds will be given
to those who have checked in
with gate. D. The Baronial
Exchequer must receive
refund requests in writing no
later than five business days
after the close of the event.
Exceptions may be made by
authorization of the
Exchequer in consultation
with the Event Steward and
the Seneschal. The
Exchequers email address is:

refunds must be paid by
check and must not be issued
until the event receipts have
been received and all
reservation checks have been
deposited. No individual
refund may be issued until
that reservation check has
cleared. |

140 Lackey Town Rd, Old Fort,

| Site Restrictions: | Site is entirely outdoors and is
somewhat primitive and may
not be accessible to those
with mobility requirements. It
is flat ground but is grassy. No
Handicapped parking, but the
parking is very close to the
event area. No alcohol due to
short duration of event.

Take your easiest route to I-40
toward Old Fort, North
Carolina. Take exit 73 and
turn north on to Catawba Ave,
heading toward the town of
Old Fort. Drive for approx .4
miles and turn right on to
Railroad St. Follow Railroad
St until it connects with
Lackey Town Rd, and turn left
on to Lackey Town Rd
(Approx .2 miles). Follow
Lackey Town Rd to Bud
Hogan Drive (.5 miles). Turn
left onto Bud Hogan Drive.
You will see Davidson's Fort
ahead of you.
