Ponte Alto 20th Anniversary
(2012-02-25 - Site opens at 9 AM & Closes at 10 PM)
Ponte Alto

Come one, come all, to the Barony of Ponte Alto’s 20th Birthday Celebration! A host of activities are planned for this event including A&S displays, a palio race, competitions for the Baronial Artisan and our Baronial Bard, dancing, music, shopping, a lavish Italian feast, shopping, and more….!

The Races:  The Barony ran palio races when we were a new Barony and we have had races through the years with the last one held in A.S. XXXIX. Our 20th Birthday event is hosting a palio – and you can’t have a palio without horses!  Hobby horses that is! Bring your best steed and try your luck. Be creative. Favorite colors are sable, Or, azure and argent.  Mistress Aislynn of Jarrow is running the palio.  Lady Delfina the Mad is her rental agent for our steeds in the Baronial Stable. There will be two sets of races during the day – one division for adults and one for youth – and there will be a prize for each division.
