Once again, the cry goes forth for all heroes to vie for glory and honor in the Chalice Championships. And for those who choose to attempt it, there is the legendary “Chalice of the Sun God,” the cup of Helios given to Hercules in the course of his labors. This year the theme is Persephone’s story and her journey to the Underworld. Please join us for this unique challenge!

Fighting: There will be a heavy and rapier fighting to earn the title of Heavy Weapons Chalice Champion or of Rapier Chalice Champion. Armored Marshal: Sir Thomas of Calais (thrid@aol.com). Cost Notes: The cost above is for pre-registered attendees. Non-preregistered, add $1.00.

Site: Prince William Forest Park, Triangle, VA, Camps 1 & 4.

Site Restrictions: No pointed weapons. No pets. No tent camping (cabins only). No open flame. The site is WET; no original containers. Cabins have showers, bathrooms, and beds (bring your own bedding). Cars are not permitted in the cabin areas. Handicap accessible. All cabins must be vacated by 11am Sunday morning.

Feast: A sumptuous feast shall be prepared by Lady Grace Whityng (kristiwhykelly@aol.com). Space is limited to 100, so get those reservations in early! Dietary concerns should be directed to the head cook.

Merchants: You are welcome. Please contact the Event Steward to register for space by the list field. Note that PWFP does not permit overnight camping in tents so plan accordingly.

Other Information: Team Competition for the Chalice of the Sun God: Teams must register before 11am on the day of the tourneys to compete for the Chalice of the Sun God. Teams must field a single participant in at least 4 of the 5 Chalice disciplines (Bardic, Artisan, Heavy, Rapier, Archery). To register a team, contact the Event Steward at belfebe@yahoo.com. You must include the names of your team members, their disciplines, and the team name.

Directions:
Take your best route to I-95 in VA. Exit at VA-234 headed towards Manassas (Exit 152B). Where VA-234 becomes a two-lane road, you will see a Travel Trailer City sign on you left. YOUR NEXT LEFT WILL BE FOR CAMPS 1&4. When you turn, follow the signs for Camp 1 entrance. Via Mapquest, enter the intersection of "Pleasant Rd & Dumfries Rd" in Montclair, VA 22205. This is the entrance to Camp 1.
