How many people worked together to create a medieval manuscript? How long did the process take? What tasks were given to individuals?
Come join your fellow scribes on the weekend of August 23rd for an opportunity to go through the step-by-step process of illuminated manuscript creation! All levels of scribal experience are welcome and encouraged to attend to take part in this manuscript project.
All participants are asked to contact the Clerk Signet at signet[AT]atlantia.sca.org for information on their project section/ assignment.

Included in your pre-registration is event admission, cabin space for the weekend, coffee/ tea, lunch on Saturday, and dinner on Saturday evening.
***Those who do not pre-register take the chance of being turned away at the gate due to the attendance limit on site. *Please note that meals will not be provided for those who DO NOT pre-register.
Site: Pocahontas State Park 10301 State Park Rd. Chesterfield, Va 23832. Site opens Friday 4pm, closes Sunday 11am.
Site Restrictions: No pets permitted; service animals will be allowed. There is a strict site limit of 112 people therefore, early pre-registeration is strongly recommended!
Other Information: Classes will be occurring throughout the day on various topics related to manuscript creation in addition to the project going on. There will be a Social on Saturdaynight following dinner open to all in attendance.
