It\'s the 12th century.. do you know where the grail is? Let\'s celebrate this year\'s Silver Chalice through the eyes of Chretien de Troyes, author of Percival and the Grail

Martial Activities:  Fighting: Silver Chalice Novice Tourney,Crestfallen Tourney, more TBA, Rapier and Grail quest

Arts & Sciences Activities:  Friday evening: Bardic competition.
Saturday: Classes in Dance and Blackwork
A&S competitions: Open, in the theme of the Grail; Heraldry Competition; Libation Competition (to fill your chalice, of course) hosted by the venerable Abbott Costello. Children\'s coloring competition.

Cost Notes:  A special child\'s feast will be served at a cost of $3.00 per child.

Site:  Givhans Ferry State Park, Ridgeville, SC. Site opens Friday 5pm, closes Sunday noon.

Site Restrictions:  Discreetly damp. No alcohol is allowed outside of the feast hall. No pets allowed in the cabins or cabin area. Please check park website for further info:

Merchanting Information:  Merchants are welcome. There is limited space indoors and ample space outside! If you are coming, please let the Event Steward know in advance.

Other Information:  The renowned musicians of Painted Wheel will be in the minstrel\'s gallery to entertain us throughout the day. Bring your devices to decorate the feast hall! Directions: 

From I-95: Canadys exit. Turn left and drive 17 mi. Cross the Edisto River and take the first left onto Givhans Ferry Rd.
From I-26: Take exit 187 onto Hwy 27 towards Ridgeville and go 1 mile to Hwy 78. Take a left and go approximately 1/4 of a mile and take a right on Hwy 27. Stay on Hwy 27 for 7 miles to Hwy 61. Take a right on Hwy 61 for 3 miles to Givhans Ferry Road. Turn right and park entrance is 1/4 mile on the left.
