The Barony of Marinus invites you to the first Known World Symposium of the Americas, a virtual event featuring research and activities focusing on the period indigenous and native cultures of North, Central and South America/New World studies. In addition to two full days of classes, the Symposium will also feature a themed bardic circle and opportunities for A&S display and competition. Classes will focus on the indigenous and native cultures of the Americas, with special focus on instructors and players with native heritage. Beginning July 15th, submit your class proposals on any aspect of the American pre-colonial experience - food and drink, clothing, fiber arts, history, music, language, literature, fighting and weapons, the list goes on! Class proposals will be accepted through August 15th, with a full schedule released to participants on September 1st. Pre-registration is not required for this virtual event. All classes will be hosted by the Barony of Marinus through Zoom. There is no cost to attend this event. Please visit www.baronyofmarinus.com after July 15th for more information.
