The 28th Tournament of Manannan mac Lir beckons all fighters Heavy and Rapier to test your mettle against the current holders of their respective brooches.
Martial Activities: Heavy Fighting: Lord Aaron Rebelinus challenges all comes to try and wrest the highly coveted, hand-crafted Brooch of Manannan mac Lir fom his fingers. (Actually he bestowed it upon Mistress Megara to wear but you get the picture). Rapier Fighting: Melchior zum grauen Wolf, Order of the White Scarf, is looking forward to all challengers for the right to wear the rightfully larger fighting brooch passed down from tourney winner to tourney winner.
Arts & Sciences Activities: Irish art in any medium as well as items used by sea travelers. Cost:

Site: Low Country Girl Scouts Plantation, 1280 3 Mile Road, Cordseville, SC 29434. Site Restrictions: Site opens 9 am and closes at 11 pm. This is a dry site, and please, no pets.

From Florence: Take Hwy 52 south. After passing the town of Santee Circle look for Hwy 402. Turn left onto 402. Follow the remaining directions.
From the East: Take Hwy 17A toward Monks Corner. Follow 17A until it joins HWY 52 in Monks Corner. Turn left onto 17A/52. Go over the Tale Race Canal and turn right onto Hwy 402. Follow the remaining directions.
From the South: Take I-26 west to Exit 199B toward Monks Corner. Follow 17A until it joins HWY 52 in Monks Corner. Turn left onto 17A/52. Go over the Tale Race Canal and turn right onto Hwy 402.
Follow the remaining directions. Make an immediate right on 402 toward Cordseville. In approximately 9 miles, turn right onto 3 Mile Road (this is an unpaved road). Follow 3 Mile Road into the site entrance.
